Getting started

After installing the plugin you’re basically done. Multisite Auto Language Switcher uses the preferred language(s) of the user, which are automatically sent to your website website by the browser, and detects whether the current content is available in a language that is more preferred by the user. The plugin does only work if you already have setup Multisite Language Switcher and connected content for at least two languages.

Disabling redirects per user

As a user, you have a setting in your profile under Auto-redirect, where you can disable the auto-redirect for your user. Just enable the checkbox “Disable auto-redirect to preferred language” and you won’t be automatically redirected anymore.
